Our mission is to assist minor sex trafficked survivors with their healing and recovery from the trauma of child sexual abuse through the social enterprise endeavors of Child Survivor Day Camp, LLC. To make available any resources that support the survivor and their care givers through trauma-informed counseling, training/programs and day camps, while providing community -based care that facilitates long term restoration. We know that every child is created by God with innate gifts, talents and dreams, our goal is to support each individual with the tools and resources to rediscover the dreams and hopes they have planted deep inside. We believe that God has commissioned us to care for the orphan and to protect, guard and nurture them with authentic love and grace. Our vision is to see our world stand with those who have been abandoned, neglected, tortured and abused by this very dark societal problem that exists and we believe that we can empower a generation of victims to bring light and healing by building support systems and infrastructure that comes alongside each survivor to champion in the war to extinguish the power of sexual crimes.
Our Vision
We are standing in the pivotal moment in time of breaking the stronghold of child sex trafficking. In order to eradicate this pandemic, we know we must take the reins and begin to build a network in every community to come along side each individual survivor and provide them with the necessary resources they need for their individual healing. Their story does not end once they are rescued, the journey of healing is only beginning. This unique community of survivors requires a holistic, trauma-based approach to healing, including counseling, safe housing, schooling, resources and a community of support. Our vision is to provide those unique needs through financial assistance. Our vision also includes offering the survivors an opportunity to participate in a day camp where other children and teens can all come together and experience a structured program of team building that empowers survivors with the skills and tools to overcome the many challenges they face in the world. We also have the unique challenge to equip the children and teens by helping them learn about safe people and healthy love so that the cycle of abuse will be broken. Our day camp can provide the necessary guidance for resources and teaching of coping skills to help them succeed.
